unstable idlling-stalling im going nuts

With access to an OpenPort cable and Evoscan (or a genuine MUT system), the TPS can be adjusted so that the TPS reading in the idle position is in the range 12-13%. Most cars that I've logged hover around 12.5%.

In everyday practical terms, I have no idea what this actually means, and do not posses the equipment listed.

I am sure I am not the only one.

How would this relate to the various adjustments that "Metzger" carried out in post #49 above, or my overall contention that the TPS can have a varied (actually, infinite within a specific rotary range) acceptable position to overcome age and wear of the transmission/adjusting shift points which seems to be confirmed by the websites I linked to in post #48 and my initial conversations with an accredited automatic transmission specialist?
